AFRICAN CHILDREN EMPOWERMENT

African Children Empowerment is a venture aimed at encouraging kids to appreciate their environment. It’s all about giving children control over their future through environmental management. By cleaning up the many streams in Qwaqwa we can one day eat fresh fish caught in our own villages. This was a reality before the advent of ultra-cheap disposable nappies.

By learning how to nurture nature, children can discover the truth about earth’s potential to supply us with food. Too many little children think of food as something that comes in plastic containers from the supermarkets.

By creating beautiful quiet spots in natural surroundings, children are instilled with the values of our ancestors; the values so often missing in a child’s environment lately.

If you would like to know more about us, or if you are in a position to help us with donations of gardening equipment or protective gear for cleaning the mountains of litter from our streams, please use the form below to get in touch.
