In the course of my freelance garbage collecting I often get empty condom boxes and sometimes even the pamphlet from in the box. This one claims to be a leading brand in the USA. It’s made by Ansell in the UK. They called Contempo and these are their Endurance condoms. The lubricant contains 4,5% benzocaine to deaden the tip of the penis. Seems to be the tool for rapists but they claim this is what prolongs the action. How many people actually read these things? Do you know you’re getting drugs in your condoms?
One side of the pamphlet is the normal instructions in seven official international languages along with all the usual dirty pictures. On the back is the fine print. Who ever reads that? I mean on a condom! It starts with all the usual disclaimers bout not using oil-based lubricants and storage directions. Then it makes a generalised statement about condoms which really offends me. I quote: “Condoms are intended for vaginal intercourse; other usage can increase the risk of breakage.” On what basis do they make such an unconstitutional statement? It gets worse. After the usual bit about how these condoms can protect you from HIV and pregnancy etc but no guarantees it then states “Caution: condoms lubricated with nonoxynol-9 are for the vaginal use only and not for frequent multiple daily use.” in other words they’re not suitable for gay men and ho’s. But there’s no such warning on the box.
Only at the end in the very fine print does it tell you about the benzocaine and all the nasty side effects it can have.
But what about this nonoxynol-9? So I googled it. Turns out this stuff caused a bit of a stink in the 1990’s. When it was first brought out it was touted as preventing the transmission of HIV. Then they tested it on a group of ho’s. They were given the normal warnings and some of them got nonoxynol-9 and some got placebo’s but neither the ho’s nor the ones dishing them out knew who got which. In the end what they find out is that the ones using nonoxynol-9 have higher incidence of HIV infection than the ho’s using the placebo. In other words this lubricant promotes the transmission of HIV. That’s not all. The ho’s using this stuff suffered vaginal lesions and the destruction of the lining of the rectum. This stuff is real bad so what are the government ones lubricated with? On checking my stock I find they don’t say anything about what or how the condoms are made. Where is Dept of Health in all this? This box is ISO 4074:2002, it has the british bureau of standards stamp as well as our own SABS stamp.
These bureaux are supposed to ensure our safe environment but they’re doing nothing. What’s the point of urging us to use condoms against aids and then importing condoms that promote the spread of HIV. At the same time there’s no GM labelling on our food and a lot of our food is GM. We’re like the guinea-pigs of human GM testing. And that too has been shown to have a devastating effect on our immune system. And what about all the food additives like aspartame causing many people to develop strange forms of diabetes and other side effects. And them strange high flying aircraft spraying us with who knows what. What’s the official word on that? It appears that Madiba secured his release from prison by selling us into perpetual slavery. Jus because the romans have opened their doors to all races doesn’t make us free. We still under roman rule; it’s jus they’re black romans. The anc’s mandate was to REPLACE rule of law with the Constitution (actually the Freedom Charter; but then we had Codesa and it got incorporated into a ‘Constitution’ enshrining the rule of law). Rule of law was supposed to have been returned to the family where it belongs. Government was supposed to have become a civic association focussed on infrastructure provision. All the roman laws and structures like SAPS, Correctional Services, Population Control etc were supposed to have been dismantled. Decades ago. Until the anc actually throw out all the multi-nationals, close down all heavy industry and mines, act fast to rescue our environment and then give us back ALL our land, we’ll never be free. (born free’s? huh!)We don’t need job creation. It’s just the modern slavery. We want our LIFE. Money and the shit it can buy ain’t no substitute for original culture
